Film project adapted film project based on the book Ride. Share. Stories by Breeze Vincinz
Ride. Share. Stories. is a rideshare memoir written by Los Angeles-based author Breeze Vincinz. More than a collection of interesting stories while driving rideshare, the project is an almanac detailing the life of a middle age queer African American man trying to make a living by chauffering people to destinations and events he wishes he could experience and attend himself. Funny, heartwarming, and thought-provoking, the upcoming film adaptation takes three of the stories within the tome and brings them to the big screen to enlighten, entertain, and inspire.

BREEZE VINCINZ
As a youth, I was fascinated by the television show "The Golden Girls." Despite being a young Black queer boy growing up in projects on the southside of Chicago, I was thoroughly entertained by those four older Caucasian women and how they navigated life as a family unit in Miami, FL. I have always admired that show and kept it in the back of my mind when I create my work, whereas I constantly remind myself that true art transcends labels and categories. And in the same way that the adventures of Dorothy & Co. connected to me, someone who was physically and geographically opposite of them, I aim to create work that similarly reaches audiences far outside my demographic.

RIDE. SHARE. STORIES.
What do sexy Brooklyn Albinos, drunk women, poverty, racism and coconut Thai soup have in common? They are all major components of stories that comprise the rideshare memoir "Ride. Share Stories." Told from the point of view of Los Angeles based writer Breeze Vincinz, this compilation of stories based on his experience as a rideshare driver combines melodrama, comedy, and passion into one provocative volume not to be missed.
